RULES AND REGULATIONS

Hello, calling all artists & photographers to participate in our upcoming exhibition "Fragments of Expression" (An exhibition of Painting, Drawing, Print Making, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramic Art, Mosaic Art, Wood work, Metalwork, Digital Art, Tapestry, Fluid & Resin Art etc) organised by the Artverse at The Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Nariman Point, Mumbai, scheduled from 4th to 9th May 2026

• The theme or the subject for this exhibition is open for every categories. So it's based on an OPEN THEME.

• Eligible Age Group: 18 to 80+ years

• Interested artists has to submit minimum 5 to 8 artworks/photographs, including an Artist's Bio Data (in PDF form) for selection. 

• Photographs taken from any device is accepted including digital camera, film, and mobile phones; however the quality of the photograph should be adequate to print in 12×18 inches.

• The artworks/photographs must be original work of the artists. Any claim on copyright will be taken seriously and decision of the selection panel will be final.

• Submission Deadline: 5th April 2026. Early submission is highly recommended, as available slots are very limited and filling rapidly.

• After submission, we will forward the artworks to our selection panel and will send an email after approval of the artworks. The selection process may take upto 2 to 4 working days.

• Specifications for Photographers: Post selection, photographers must ensure that their photographs are printed in matte finish, with the mounting and a wooden/fibre frame. It is recommended to avoid glass covering. Or else, heavy transparent acrylic sheet or non-reflective fibre can be used instead of glass.

• Gallery space booking fee for framed Artworks/Photographs :

1. For a space of 3ft X 8ft (feet) = ₹15,000/- only (3 feet breadth X 8 feet height)

NOTE: Artists can also submit only 2 artworks (since Minimum Criteria are 2 artworks), then the fee will be:

1. 1. Per Frame (Size : within 16"X 20" inches) = ₹2,500/- only.

   2. Per Frame (Size : within 18" X 24" inches) = ₹3,000/- only.

• For Sculpture work:

1.  Per artwork (Size : upto 1ft X 2ft) = ₹3,000 only; for two works, it will be ₹5,000 only.

2.  Per artwork (Size : upto 2ft X 3ft) = ₹4,000 only; for two works, it will be ₹7,000 only.

3.  Per artwork (Size : upto 3ft X 4ft) = ₹5,000 only; for two works, it will be ₹8,000 only.

• Upon approval of artworks, selected participants are required to remit the applicable registration fee by the spitulated time to the designated bank account (details to be shared post-approval)

• Physical presence of the artist is not mandatory for all days of the exhibition; however, artist attendance is encouraged to engage with audiences. 

• Artists (or their representatives) must collect unsold artworks on the final day of the exhibition. If unavailable, artworks will be couriered back, with shipping charges borne by the artist.

• Artists residing outside Mumbai who are unable to attend in person may ship their artworks to the gallery; shipping details will be provided post-selection.

• Artists residing outside Mumbai, who won't not able to travel to Bombay during the exhibition, they can courrier the artwork to the gallery address (Currier details will be provided post approval).

PLEASE NOTE: You have to pay only if your artwork/photograph is selected.

Interested artists can submit their artworks for selection to our mail id or you can also send it through WhatsApp in PDF or JPEG format and also mention the Size, Medium and Surface of the artworks. Also you can submit your artworks by clicking "REGISTER NOW" button, below.
